Weather Phenomenon

Johnson's Law of Directional Precipitation - Whichever direction the driver's side window pane of Justin Johnson's car runs perpindicular is the direction from which any and all precipitation shall fall, resulting in the driver's seat being soaked while leaving the entire passenger section of said conveyence completely dry.

The same goes for windows in houses. Windows that are open, with nothing of interest but the floor beneath them, remain dry. Windows under which reside books, crafts, or anything else water damagable, shall look like a fire hose was waved liberally about.
